All gates to be opened near Manchester Walmart

Aldermen voted unanimously to accept a proposal to open all gates in the area and once again make President Road and Mack Avenue two-way streets.

The decision came after months of debate. Different traffic patterns sparked outrage among residents who were concerned about safety.

Just last month, aldermen voted to make President Road one way, but residents said that didn't work either.

The traffic pattern will return to the way it was before the new Walmart opened in April.
