Dear Homeowners,
You may have noticed 6 small looking trash cans placed around the village. These cans contain a bucket of sand that can be used to treat small icy spots as needed in between sand applications by our contractor. We hope that you will find these sand stations helpful and remind you that while the board has put them out for the community it is the communities responsibility to help keep them filled. Pails can be taken and refilled at the city yard on the corner of Lincoln and Hayward St. Easy access from Lincoln St.(Sand is curbside for easy pick-up).
Many thanks to Guy Bilodeau for getting these set up and initially filling them with sand. As they need sand please go ahead and take the inner pail to the city yard and refill them.
Also we are continuing to work with our plowing contractor to ensure roads are cleared and maintained as well as possible. Please let the board know if you have any issues and we will look into it and contact the contractor if needed.
Please do not push snow from your driveway on to Hunters Village Way it complicates plowing and makes snow covered roads worse.
